Join in to "yarn bomb" the big tree outside the Szilagyi Center. Yarn bombing is a form of art where a public item is wrapped in yarn. All summer, people have been crocheting and knitting 9x9-inch squares. We will wrap the tree in yarn by stitiching the squares together around the tree. If you can't come help, come by and see the tree later in October or November. This is a temporary form of art. We will leave it on the tree as long as it continues to look good, and that will mostly be a factor of the weather, so it might be up longer than November, but our goal is to have it last through the Thanksgiving Weekend. |
