Treat Mom to a Mother’s Day Tea. The afternoon tea will feature scones, sweets, and tea sandwiches catered by Foxfire Coffee. Guest speaker, author Wayne Sheets of Elkins, will talk about the legacy of Anna Jarvis, the founder of Mother's Day and a few of Anna Jarvis' favorite hymns will be sung by JoAnn Peterson. Wear your finery and pretty hats. Hats will be provided for those who don't have any, but would like to wear one. You may also bring your own special tea cup to use, if you wish. The price is $15 for the tea for adults and $12.50 for children ten and under. |
